Job Description

Position Title: IO/NKO Program and Weapon System (WS) SupportAir Combat Command (USAF)Work Location: Langley AFB, VAPosition Type: Full Time Responsibilities• Provide technical and managerial support to the Operations Functional Area Manager (FAM).• Review, coordinate and prepare monthly SORTS and DRRS reports. Analyze the data presented by the units; identify trends and shortfalls and brief possible solutions to senior leadership during monthly briefings.• Coordinate with ACC/A3O for the development and management of UTC''s, DOC statements, and METS.• Develop proposed allocations of program or WS and associated equipment to meet theater combatant commander needs. Provide support to develop the GFMAP and associated ACC DEPORDs. Coordinate with other ACC organizations to ensure all requirements are captured/codified.• Provide support for the development and staffing of Staff packages, CONOPS, CONEMPS, Enabling Concepts, Roadmaps, Contingency Plans and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs); perform Major Weapon System (MWS) Lead Command duties.• Review, develop and prepare Concept of Operations (CONOPs), conceptual operational plans, and proper execution of Weapon System process execution.• Develop, review and coordinate Program or WS Instructions and policy (AFI 11-MWS Vols 1, 2, 3) with the operational unit, COCOM, MAJCOM, and HAF.• Review and coordinate on Program or WS policy and technical orders (AFTTP 3-Program or WS, Technical Orders)• Develop, review, and coordinate Ready Aircrew Program (RAP) Tasking Messages (RTMs) and reports.• Liaison with other ACC divisions and other MAJCOMs for Program or WS operational interests in order to improve synchronization and alignment of policy and doctrine in an efficient manner.• Develop, review, prepare and coordinate Program or WS aircrew position specific training syllabi (Initial Qualification Training (IQT)/Mission Qualification Training (MQT), Requalification Training (RQT), and Instructor Upgrade for Pilot, Co-pilots and Payload Operators) and Training Task Lists (TTL).• Review, develop and prepare lead command operational inputs for Program or WS programmatic funding (current and modernization). Review, develop and prepare programmatic documents supporting the Program or WS readiness program.• Prepare independent analysis of current and projected financial baselines and make recommendations regarding resource planning actions to support the programs, systems migrations, system modernization, and interface developments. Assist with Budgeting Execution Report (BER), Execution Plan, and Initial Distribution• Review, develop and prepare positions and responses to ACC and Air Staff taskings.Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSA).• Must possess Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance• Must possess a Bachelor''s Degree.• Must possess minimum of 10 years of Program or WS experience.• Must possess minimum of 2 years of Numbered Air Force or higher level staff experience.
