Logistician with Security Clearance

Description Logistician Washington, DC Responsibilities: The Candidate shall assist in the planning, execution, integration and oversight of all Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities and projects, and shall provide ILS expertise to assist in developing innovative process improvements and solutions. The Contractor shall provide expertise in commercial ship, US Navy ship, and FMS requirements pertaining to ship supportability issues including life cycle support as they relate to DoD acquisition policies and procedures and other applicable statutory or regulatory requirements. The Candidate shall provide logistics, technical, and in-depth operational knowledge in MSC policies and procedures as well as FMS policies and procedures. The Contractor shall also provide in-depth knowledge of U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) regulations, American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) rules, Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) issues or other regulatory body requirements as needed. Requirements: * 20+ years DoD/DoN program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management * Understanding of: Navy procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); Military Sealift Command (MSC) ILS procedures and processes; Foreign Military Sales; Supervisory experience; experience communicating Logistics concepts to SES/Flag level personnel * Project Management Professional (PMP) for 5+ years * Bachelor''s degree in logistics, engineering, or business management disciplines; Preferred: Master''s Degree in logistics, engineering, or business management disciplines * US Citizen with Secret Security Clearance ORBIS offers an excellent benefits package and competitive salary in a professional atmosphere.
