Software Developer with Security Clearance

Overview LMI is seeking for a Software Developer to support a federal program management office (PMO) charged with planning, acquiring, and managing the deployment and operation of technology and capabilities to keep our borders safe. Responsibilities The Software Developer will be responsible for using their knowledge of programming languages to design software programs. This individual should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills, experienced in Agile frameworks and popular coding languages (e.g., JavaScript). Duties include meeting with clients to determine their software needs, coding, and testing software to ensure functionality and updating software programs to refine components like cybersecurity measures and data storage capacities. Specific responsibilities may include: * Design algorithms and flowcharts * Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications * Integrate software components and third-party programs * Verify and deploy programs and systems * Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software * Gather and evaluate user feedback * Recommend and execute improvements * Create technical documentation for reference and reporting Technical Skills: * Microsoft Azure * Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio * Microsoft Power BI * Microsoft SharePoint * Microsoft Power Automate * Microsoft PowerApps * Microsoft Teams * Clarity PPM * JavaScript * HTML and CSS * SQL Query * Oracle BI * Tableau Qualifications * SENIOR LEVEL: 10+ years of relevant experience and a STEM BS degree or 7 years relevant experience and a MS degree in computer science or systems engineering. * MID LEVEL: 3-10 years'' relevant experience and a STEM BS degree * Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role * Experience with Agile development methodologies * Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment * In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology * Ability to learn new languages and technologies * Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills * Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude * Attention to detail * Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a comprehensive government security investigation must meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive information.
