Audio Visual/VTC Programmer at Scott AFB Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local CACI is looking for an Audio Visual/VTC Programmer. Web Application and Support Lead to support our customer, U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), at Scott AFB Illinois. This position is contingent upon award of the USTRANSCOM Command, Control, Communication & Cyber Systems Managed Information Technology Services (MITS), Enterprise support Managed services. Audio Visual/VTC Programmers require excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as thorough knowledge of AV/VTC hardware, software and network connections. Responsible for Enterprise standardization of Audio Visual (AV) integrated rooms. Responsible for design, program, install, test, and maintain AV/VTC technologies within USTRANSCOM facilities. The candidate will design and provide maintenance, technical engineering, documentation, and program support for USTRANSCOM and SDDC AV/VTC capabilities, to include performing all control system programming. Maintain USTRANSCOM conference rooms and VTC studios that are disbursed throughout the USTRANSCOM campus of buildings, to include providing design and technical engineering support for Scott AFB; Norfolk, VA; and Washington, D.C. Provide, and maintain a delivery schedule for each project/initiative the AV/VTC programmer works, utilizing the Government-provided project management tool, and provide a record of breakdown hours expended against each project/initiative by skill set on a weekly basis. Work projects/initiatives based on the documented, prioritized, project list established by the Government. Provide Tier I/II support for cable television trouble calls and verify proper television configuration for USTRANSCOM and SDDC locations on Scott AFB. Provide escort services for local cable television representative for trouble calls as available. Mount/Connect audio and video cables as necessary for proper operation of the display. Track and manage all cable television locations and schedule a trouble call with the cable provider when necessary. Candidate must also understand how AMX and Crestron programming cause/effect impacts the overall audio visual systems. Must be able to establish templates, and program to intuitive user interfaces. Documenting and maintaining operations, network development, and maintenance processes and procedures. Support AV programming, audio design, digital signage, communications, data, and control systems with existing and new AV control systems. Troubleshoot hardware cabling and components in addition to touch panel programming. May also mentor or train other Audio Visual/VTC Programmers or Technicians. Candidates need excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as extensive experience with desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems and network connectivity. They must be customer service-oriented and proactive in anticipating and resolving problems while maximizing efficient use of resources. The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users. Additionally, the Audio Visual/VTC Programmer will provide remote support and/or travel to customer sites as required.
