A Day in the Life (Just a Few of the Things You Will Do): * Lead development of code and integration of complex software components across numerous components and subsystems into a fully functional software system * Lead program engagements with partners and customers on software capability, development, and integration into larger software architectures and environments. * Lead the definition of software development planning including methods to implement software solutions to achieve end architectures, define software requirements and interfaces, identify software development environment tools and processes, and the software development, integration and test timeline. * Lead the identification, coordination and communicate communication of software requirements, architectures and interfaces for incorporation into software architectures and environments. * Lead the identification, innovation, implementation of new tools and processes to support this work scope. * Provide critical support and independent review of the work of teammates. Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) is seeking for multiple Senior Software Engineer to join their team. Work Location: Huntington Beach CA, Annapolis Junction MD, or El Segundo CA. Telework Availability: No Telework Availability Basic Qualifications/Education (Required Skills/Experience): * Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years'' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years'' related work experience, Master+12 years'' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. * 4+ years of experience designing and developing software for a real time or non-real-time system Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): * Experience with the full software development lifecycle that includes requirements analysis through Formal Qualification. * Experience in software development using languages such as C, C++, Python, JavaScript. * Experience using team collaboration tools including Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence. * Experience automating software builds, unit tests, integration tests, deployment, and installations using a DevOps tool chain (Gitlab, Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory, etc). * Experience with Agile development methodologies. * Active Security Clearance This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
