Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking high performing Mid-Level Airplane Systems Integration-Systems Engineers in Everett, WA. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of and help develop the newly announced Airplane Systems Integration Organization. The ideal candidate will be agile and motivated to help develop and foster relationships across the organization. This includes developing and maintaining relationships with customers (internal/external), stakeholders, peers, and partners while developing and implementing best engineering practices.This role will be responsible for providing cross functional integration across all of our products. This will include but not limited to the following; Emerging issue resolution and technical excellence, Integration of Airplane Systems cross functional requirements, MBE/MBSE Implementation, Development Assurance, Technical and Process BPSM quality, Design Practice Development and Implementation.Position Responsibilities:Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.Resolves cross-functional technical issues.This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite in Everett, WA. This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):Bachelor''s degree or higher in an ABET accredited course of study in engineering, computer science or related field3+ years'' experience in an Engineering RoleProject Leadership experiencePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):Experience with Systems IntegrationExperience coordinating systems engineering tasks across external and internal stakeholdersExperience in design engineering / Engineering Design processesExperience in developing and managing metrics and RCCA''s and/or BPSMs (Boeing Problem Solving Model)Experience demonstrating strong presentation and communication skillsTypical Education:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years'' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years'' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
