IT Operations Engineer

We have an opening for an IT Systems Engineer at our LDA Sussex, WI facility. The primary focus of this position is to p rovides leadership in the managing of incoming Help Desk requests for desktop support services. Independently resolves issues concerning desktop devices and software including - computers, faxes, printers, office phones, cell phones, Outlook, remote access, Windows operating system, Microsoft Office. This position will be primarily located in Sussex, WI, however travel to Kenosha, Mequon, Muskego will be required. What you would do as a IT Systems Engineer do: Manage in coming Help Desk requests for desktop support services Manage and implement small to medium desktop related projects Support desktop, mobile, and scanner devices as well as current software versions including (computers, faxes, printers, office phones, cell phones, remote access, Windows operating system, iOS, Microsoft Office, Adobe, Outlook...) Receive and install new desktop hardware Remove and dispose of old desktop hardware Develop specs for standard hardware (i.e. desktop, notebook, tablets....) Track and report software installs Coordinate new employee setup and employee departures Manage desktop computer assets and user accounts Organize and maintain inventory of desktop software and hardware Complete all software installs Evaluate and test software upgrades and report any projected impact to business Activate and maintain user fobs for building access Will support multiple facilities in Sussex, Muskego, Mequon & Kenosha area via remote desktop and some travel. No What are the Qualification Requirements: Prior experience supporting a desktop environment Technical understanding of the following: Active Directory Outlook Windows OS Microsoft Office Teams Apple hardware/software (iPhone and iPad) Ability to travel to Canada and Mexico, passport will be required (1 to 2 trips per year) Experience providing support to multiple facilities Excellent communication skills Strong coordination skills Customer service focused Extremely organized Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities Understands technical support issues for the desktop environment Process oriented work structure Comfortable providing support to and work with all levels of customers from C levels down in the organization Excellent problem solving skills Ability to work well in a highly functioning close knit team of technical associates - must be a team player We are the ASSA ABLOY Group Our people have made us the global leader in access solutions.
