Custodial Technician - Part Time or Full Time

The Troy Branch YMCA is seeking Full Time or Part Time Custodial TechnicianAs the Custodial Technician, you will clean and sanitize assigned areas, including such duties as mopping, dusting, and trash removal as well as supervising assigned staff. May complete duties related to window washing, meeting set up, pool cleaning, snow removal, grounds keeping, and other related responsibilities.Our Custodial Technician will have the following qualifications:* One year prior experience in custodial work preferred.* Prior supervisory experience is preferred.* Excellent human relation skills and communication skills.* Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.* Ability to report and record maintenance requests.* Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.* Basic understanding of the upkeep and care of equipment.* Understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.Pay Rate: $16.66 hr.
