Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) has exciting opportunities for an Experienced Quality Engineer (level 4) to join our Engineering Quality team located in Everett, Washington. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about problem solving, system thinking, engaging with program engineering and the production system doing complex data analysis to improve our engineering quality processes, quality management system, and production system.Position Responsibilities: Leads integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.Provides interpretation of complex requirements. Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for large programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.Develops Quality criteria to support supplier selection activities. Leads various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Develops and selects methods for analysis, testing and audit to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Assists in development of new standards repairs for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Develops and implements corrective actions. Performs benchmarking and other forms of advanced analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. Works under minimal direction.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Everett, Washington location.This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent Basic Qualifications:Bachelor''s, Master''s, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study5+ years of experience in process improvement utilizing formal, systematic tools such as Root Cause and Corrective Action, Lean improvement techniques or Six Sigma: example reducing product cost, improving quality, improving delivery, reduce cycle time, increase employee and customer satisfactionPreferred Qualifications: Prior working experience in multi-functions (quality engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, system engineering, design engineering, etc)Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC) Blackbelt certifiedDesign for Six Sigma (DFSS) Greenbelt or Blackbelt certifiedExperience in data analyticsExperience leading cross-functional teamsMaster''s or Doctorate of Science/Engineering degree from an accredited schoolExperience leading cross-functional teamsExperience researching engineering drawings and requirementsTypical Education/Experience: Bachelor''s degree and typically 9 or more years'' experience in an engineering classification or a Master''s degree with typically 7 or more years'' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years'' experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
