Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) is seeking motivated and talented several Multi-level Systems Engineering Technicians to join the Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) Team in the St. Louis, Missouri region. The St. Louis team supports a variety of programs across multiple divisions including Bombers and Fighters, Autonomous Systems, Missile and Weapon Systems and Phantom Works. Our programs are developing some of the most dynamic and technically engaging defense platforms and mission capabilities in the industry. The region is dynamic and growing as we support multiple new product development programs. We are focused on developing top talent in support of critical missions for national defense and delivering unique capability to the warfighter.Supported programs include fighters such as the F/A-18 Super Hornet, EA-18G Growler, F-15 Eagle, F-22 Raptor, and T-7A Red Hawk, autonomous aircraft such as the MQ-25 Stingray and MQ-28 Ghost Bat, weapons such as the JDAM, SDB, MOP, HAAWC, SLAM ER, and Harpoon, and numerous proprietary programs developing the next generation systems. In this role you will directly support one or many of the aforementioned BDS Programs with daily operations including developing trade studies, defining requirements, supporting aircraft/weapon design integration / Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) architecture development, performing systems analysis, controlling engineering/program data, hosting engineering review board meetings, managing engineering/program metrics, and supporting the program/engineering leadership team with engineering initiatives. You will work closely with our engineering teams, engineering leadership, and program management teams to build relationships and deliver results.The selected engineering technician will have tremendous career growth opportunities at Boeing, including a path to become a Systems Engineer. (Note: a Systems Engineer will be required to have a Bachelors or higher in a technical field)Position ResponsibilitiesSupports systems/specialty engineering in developing requirements, trade studies, and analysesSupports MBSE effortsDevelop and supports implementation of systems engineering tools and processesAssist in preparation of technical documentation and reports for delivery to customersGathers, tracks and analyzes system health data in support of failure reporting and corrective actionCollaborate with customer representatives, engineering teams, and engineering leadershipManage and support program/engineering metrics and initiativesThrive in a dynamic environment while engaging with multiple development, Integration, and leadership teams.Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
