Best of luck! - The MetroStar People & Culture Team You''re a great fit if... * You are experienced maintaining accreditation of customer''s test and development networks and project enclaves by applying the Risk Management Framework (RMF) in validating and certifying systems, applications and networks, and preparing accreditation packages for formal approval. * You have experience conducting and analyzed vulnerability scans and configuration scans to ascertain residual risk. * You are experienced evaluating system and network device configurations against DoDI 8500.2 CS Controls to ascertain the accreditation readiness of commercial (COTS) and Government (GOTS) systems, applications, and architectures. * You have experience ensuring integrity and protection of networks, systems, and applications by technical enforcement of organizational security policies, through monitoring of vulnerability scanning devices. (This is the stuff you MUST have to be a fit) * 5 years of experience creating and maintaining DoD Assessment and Authorization packages based upon the National Institute of Standards and Technology Risk Management Framework * 2 years of experience validating Marine Corps Assessment and Authorization packages in accordance with the MCAAP. * an active Secret security clearance. * a current DoD approved 8570 IAM Level 2 Certification(s) such as CAP, CASP+CE, CISM, CISSP or Associate, GSLC, CCISO * a current United States Marine Corps Validator Certificate. (This is the bonus stuff that makes you stand out) * You are able to organize artifacts in the Marine Corps Compliance and Authorization Support Tool (MCCAST) to develop accreditation packages for approval by the Joint Staff Authorizing Official. * You can determine the security posture and CS accreditation readiness of systems and architectures involved in assessment of Command and Control (C2) interoperability between DoD, Coalition, COTS/GOTS tools, systems, and systems of systems. * You have experience supporting engineering design teams by assessing network and system security design features, and making recommendations concerning overall security accreditation readiness and compliance with CS guidance and best practices. * You have supported interoperability assessment teams by applying CS SME judgment to assessment criteria, metrics, and techniques; developed CS assessment objectives; and presented written analysis and conclusions in all phases of analysis. What your day will look like... * You will acquire information to create the documentation by attending meetings, talking to SMEs, and researching existing documentation to produce the Systems development life cycle SDLC documentation. * You will provide independent verification and validation of Marine Corps system''s security controls and safeguards designed through the security engineering process. * You will validate applicable cybersecurity controls for an assigned Marine Corps system, including developing the appropriate test procedures if necessary, executing the test procedures and accurately documenting the results of security testing. * You will perform the requisite preparatory steps and conditions as required, performing the actual validation steps, comparing the actual results with the expected results, and analyzing the differences for impact and risk. You will be expected to document results in a government provided repository. * You will perform CVSS Scoring via MCCAST v2, developing the Security Assessment Report (SAR) and other Validation support requirements as required by DoD and USMC policies and guidance for the assigned system(s). You will facilitate the coordination of the Program Manager, ISSM/ISSO, User Representative, and Marine Corps AO agreement of the documentation, and document all results in a government provided repository. * You will develop metrics and report metrics that include the percentages of completion in every step of the validation process.
