Central Research, Inc. (CRI) has an exciting opportunity available for a Customer Service Representative II. This position provides phone and email support for a Federal client in Oakland, Maryland. This position will be telework/work from home until COVID-19 safety precautions change. Duties and Responsibilities:• Provide a high-level of customer service in all responsibilities • Answer customer phone calls and emails • Provide correct answers or refer customers to appropriate next steps • Learn necessary information to provide high-level customer service about relevant topicsMinimum Qualifications:• 1 year of customer service experience in a high-volume environment including: managing inbound and outbound calls, receiving, and responding to email and faxes • High school diploma or equivalency• Public Trust security clearance• US citizenship required per the contractPreferred Qualifications:• Experience supporting government clients and/or working with VeteransKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:• Excellent customer service skills and the desire to help people find answers • Excellent organizational skills with a high-level attention to detail • Ability to carry out multiple tasks under tight deadlines • Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues; desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment • Ability to follow organizational procedures • Demonstrated ability to coordinate with a project team • Good written and verbal communications abilities • Knowledge of military and Veteran populations • Ability and dedication to learn new information and explain it to customers in a clear and actionable mannerAs permitted by applicable law, CRI employees must provide evidence of the full COVID-19 vaccination as defined by CDC guidelines OR secure approval of medical or religious accommodation for the vaccination mandate.
