We want to reward you for giving us a chance, so when you sign for your first assignment (of 13 weeks or more) with us from now until August 31st we will include a $1,000 bonus on your first paycheck.Unit: MB(Couplet Care) of Postpartum beds- 23 at this time ready to be used. of births per day, per year- Average 3-4 a day, 1100 a year Do ratios follow AWHONN guidelines? -4 couplets max Required Certifications- NRP fetal monitoring, BLS Common diagnoses/Types of patients- Postpartum moms and Newborns Experience or ''Must have'' skills- 1 year postpartum experience Are RNs required to titrate drips?- NO Common titratable &/or set rate drips- NO Charge Nurse/House Supervisor- usually have a free charge nurse. Are there nurse aids/surgical techs on this unit? NO OB/Neonatologist in house 24/7?- yes RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc)- Pulse ox, Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips?-NO EFM System- Fetal link, Cerner Shifts & Scheduling- 3 times a week Weekend Requirement- 1 weekend every other week Holiday Requirement- 1 major and 2 minor Is there a call or standby requirement? If census is low they may be placed on standby Floating Requirements NO Scrub Color/Dress code- NAVY Blue Unit/Department specific orientation- 1 Day of orientation.Quality Nurses Job ID d379551.
