Trailer Mechanic

Description: Service Tire Truck Centers, a thriving mechanical business and 1qleading provider of truck tires and mechanical services to the transportation industry with 53 locations in 8 states is offering a full time Monday - Friday day shift opportunity for a experienced Trailer Mechanic in Lewisberry, PA. This is a 1st shift opportunity. Shops are well equipped and clean in a positive fast paced environment. Excellent pay and benefits are also offered at Service Tire. Responsibilities:• Perform repairs and maintenance of semi-trailers• Preventative maintenance to ensure customer''s fleet of trailers are always in great condition• Service, inspect, diagnose and perform all repairs and maintenance on trailer equipment• Routine maintenance and other service repair orders, in accordance with DOT requirements• Conduct annual DOT inspections to include minor to moderate repairs• Welding and Fabrication required for this position• Help maintain positive working relationships with current customersPre-placement drug screen and DOT physical required. No criminal background check required.
