Job Description ASRC Federal is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for mission-critical defense systems. We are seeking highly motivated principal level Software Engineers to support the development and sustainment of the U.S. Army Photon project in Wall, NJ. Responsibilities: Work in a collaborative team using Agile Safe software development methodology. Lead a scrum team managing DevSecOps pipeline, automating builds, testing, integrating external tools and deploying releases. Performing the following tasks: * Working with the Development, Engineering, Architecture, and Testing teams to define the set of tools and processes for the continuous delivery pipeline* Working to ensure that the tools are compliant with security requirements* Working to streamline the processes from a tools and technical process perspective* Working to automate testing where possible* Working to ensure that the CI/CD processes align with operational requirements* Researching problems and developing solutions.ASRC Federal and its Subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employers. Requirements • Bachelor''s degree or higher (in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field).• US Citizenship in order to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.• 7-9 years'' experience in software development, maintenance, or support of large-scale software programs.• Hands-on experience working with tools and technologies in, at a minimum, two of the following areas: software development, configuration control, testing, security, automation, containerization, orchestration, cloud services, open source technologies.• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in DevOps.• Experience with building, testing, and administering Container Platform clusters• Experience with production support experience in Linux environments• Able to address security vulnerabilities through configuration and patching• Experience developing software with Agile scaled principles.• Familiar with GitLab• Familiar with issue tracking systems like JIRA.• Experience with the following is considered a plus:• MS Azure• Kubernetes• SonarQube ASRC Federal and its Subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employers.
