Our customers include national, state and local government, defense and intelligence, infrastructure, energy, commercial and environmental customers.Role: Geospatial Analyst - Multiple OpeningsRole Summary: The Geospatial Analyst will work closely with the Project Lead and Project Quality Control staff, reporting status, any quality concerns and address other project related items. Additionally, the Geospatial Analyst III may mentor employees, perform QC duties, training and delivery duties at the discretion of the Project Manager, Project Lead and/or QC Lead of a project. U.S. Citizenship is required for most positions.ResponsibilitiesExtract feature and/or terrain data from a variety of sourcesConflate and adjudicate vector sourcesConduct research to full prepare and populate attribution from available sourcesAssist in work procedures/checklist updates and/or creationAssist the project lead(s) with project scheduling, where necessary, as well as update project statusPerform product finishing tasks to client content and quality specificationsConducts quality control reviews of data and provides feedbackConduct peer review/feedback of data prior to QC where applicableMay participate in training/mentoring of co-workersQualificationsRequirements: Bachelor''s degree in Geography, Cartography or Geographic Information Systems, or related degree*2+ years'' relevant skill experience including the following: working in production teams, knowledge and experience with digital cartography, image processing, and computer technology; knowledge of geographical information systems, geospatial production techniques, and digital data formats** Eligible to be cleared for a security clearance or have a clearance that can be reinstated upon hire*Additional experience can be substituted for education** Additional education can be substituted for years of experienceExperience Preferred:Previous geospatial data production (in particular, experience with large Government Agency Geospatial and Cartographic data, products and services), especially the collection of feature and terrain data from satellite imagery and other sourcesActive security clearance preferredGISP is a plusCompetencies & Skills:Exceptional customer service orientationExcellent writing, presentation and communication skillsAble to coordinate with program stakeholdersAbility to plan, organize and manage project schedules, tasks, and deliverables
