Software Tester with Security Clearance

Job Description Position: Software Tester Location: Arlington, VA Work Arrangement: Hybrid (at least 2 days a week onsite) Clearance: Active Secret preferred or interim Secret clearance Summary: ASRC Federal Cyber is seeking the best and brightest quality assurance/software testing talent in our industry to support the critical mission of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). We are developing the applications that provide the tools necessary for our drug enforcement agents and the greater law enforcement community to take illicit drugs and those who traffic them off the street. The current opioid crisis in our country is testament to the critical mission of the DEA. Responsibilities: * Providing technical test engineering expertise* Perform, plan, and support tasks related to operational test and evaluation requirements* Write and execute test scripts, test cases and test scenarios* Analyze and provide technical inputs and report for management on applicable program/application/service test requirements* Document defects and provide reporting to management personnel for the purposes of recycling and correction of software/documentation* Support requirements development* Provide operations and maintenance support to ensure continuous reliability and availability of applications* Support end-user training and related customer needs* May provide oversight and guidance to other Testers and technical members of the team to ensure success technical performance and delivery of services Requirements Requirements: * Ability to understand requirements and interpret into Test Cases* Basic SQL in Oracle or Microsoft* Service testing on Oracle SOA ESB and Windows* Testing in a highly integrated environment* Functional and System Requirements Analysis* Back-end, ETL and Database testing* Demonstrated expertise with Software QA processes and industry-best practices* Hands-on expertise with both manual and automated testing (all areas -- functional, regression, load and system testing)* Experience with automation tools* Expertise with test case development* Candidates will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship is required. Education/Experience: * Minimum of 5 years of experience with testing web applications.* Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office 2010 and higher.* Minimum of 2 years of experience with MS Team Foundation Server
