Class A/B CDL Driver

Class A/B CDL Driver FULL-TIME Travel locally to deliver building materials to our customers, while adhering to and understanding safety policies and regulations. Duties include:• Pre-inspecting truck, load with materials and verify load for accuracy• Setting up job perimeters, inspecting the site to ensure a safe environment to unload• Guiding helper to ensure safe unloading and will load at times as well.• Communicating regularly with dispatcher to ensure timely product delivery at the job site• Communicating potential on-site hazards to branch management• Keeping logbook up to date at all times• Adhere to and understand safety policies and regulations BNA-02 WS-02 Schedule Shift start: 6:30AM Shift length: 9 - 12 hours Monday - Friday Benefits Health, dental, vision insurance - available after 30 days Paid time off 401(k) plan Qualifications Must pass drug screen (cannabis included) Must pass background check Can lift 75 lbs Must be at least 21+ years old CDL Class A/B driver license in good standingShould be comfortable driving a manual and automatic transmission truck and operate heavy equipment for unloading About Beacon Building Products Headquartered in Herndon, Virginia, Beacon is the largest publicly traded distributor of roofing materials and complementary building products in the United States and Canada.
