Job DescriptionSystems EngineerJob Description: The Systems Engineer will follow and support directives/initiatives/missions as set by the Director of Converged Solutions and Corporate leadership.Job Responsibilities: Attends and participates in National Sales Conferences, all virtual and onsite Team meetings, and other meetings as may be requested by Director of Converged Solutions Identifies, communicates, and resolves projects at risk of scope creep, failure, missing deadlines, and other issues that negatively impact customer, team, and corporate target Installs, supports, and troubleshoots client-supported products (Session Boarder controllers Client, Data switches, routers and wireless, Session management, VMware applications) on a billable basis, and as projects dictate Systems Engineer supports and troubleshoots customer data network environments to achieve a high quality VoIP installation Assesses customer''s data network as part of the implementation team to insure satisfactory IP voice quality prior to VoIP installation Provides assessment and troubleshooting support, post-cutover, on a billable basis Assists customers in setting up and testing DHCP server scopes, and TFTP servers and make QoS recommendations. IP Telephony product implementation activities such as IP addressing, firmware downloads, and testing of Media Servers and gatewaysRequired Qualifications: BS degree in Engineering in Computer or Data Networking or equivalent industry experience Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Avaya certifications, or equivalent experience VoIP implementation experience Excellent verbal and written communication Strong problem solving and organizational skills Note: Remote with 65% travel (reimburses for travel and Per Diem expenses) Will be traveling nationwide to different military bases.
