GridIron IT is seeking a Verification and Validation Analyst local to Crystal City, VA. Secret Security Clearance required. Position Summary: * Take an active role in cyber defense for DoD JSP.* Protect critical infrastructure from the constant onslaught of cyber-attacks.* Demonstrate the ability to correlate cyber vulnerabilities to customers'' cyber terrain using scanning technologies.* Apply technical knowledge of ACAS, HBSS, and Tanium to interpret tool reports and will communicate vulnerability statuses to subscribers and Risk Management Framework (RMF) practitioners to support system accreditation processes.* Apply expertise in STIG fix text remediation to provide recommendations to customers and document those recommendations in executive reports.* Work with the team to understand, mitigate, and respond to threats quickly, restoring operations and limiting the impact.* Analyze incidents to figure out just how many systems are affected and assist recovering efforts.* Combine threat intelligence, event data, and assessments from recent events, and identify patterns to understand attackers'' goals to stop them from succeeding. Qualifications/Required Skills: * 3+ years of experience in a cybersecurity field.* 2+ years of experience with using ACAS.* 2+ years of experience with communicating STIG compliance requirements.* Ability to author compliance reports and communicate clearly to customers and executive leadership.* BA or BS degree.* DoD 8140 or 8570 IAT II certification.* Splunk PowerUser Certification preferred.
