PCB Solderer - Immediately Hiring

Great Opportunity We are seeking Electronic PCB Solderers with at least 2 years soldering experience Pay based on experience POSITION SUMMARY: Perform a variety of assembly operations and inspection on electronic components and subassemblies utilizing assembly procedures, written instructions, notes, diagrams, and customer specifications. Lead and train others in acquired skills and industry knowledge. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Perform detailed assembly, soldering and inspection of electrical components on printed circuit boards. Requires use of soldering irons, basic hand tools, microscope, and assembly fixtures. Solder/inspect under magnification: Miniature connectors, SMT discrete components, BGAs and wires. Follow work instructions, assembly notes, schematics, and drawings to complete electronic assembly operations to customer specifications. Inspect product to verify conformance to workmanship standards. Train other employees in advanced soldering/inspection skills as required. Support and follow all quality standards related to Singularity''s Quality Management Systems. Adhere to company safety rules and maintain ESD-safe work environments QUALIFICATIONS 2 or more years of relevant soldering and/or soldering inspection experience Current IPC or J-STD soldering certification desirable Self-motivated and be able to work with minimum supervision Problem-solver, quick learning, high personal integrity, team player Prior Team Lead experience is a plus EDUCATION Minimum High School or equivalent diploma. Associates Degree or Certificate in related Manufacturing/Quality discipline a plus LANGUAGE SKILLS Very good English language skills in terms of reading, writing and speaking. Able to read and understand standard work documents such as bills of materials, work instructions and tracking logs. WORK ENVIRONMENT Employees may be exposed to moderate noise levels and processes that utilize solder, potting material, conformal coating and cleaning agents, which have various odors. Work environment includes machines and tools with sharp moving parts and hot surfaces; safety procedures must be observed.
