Our associates are our greatest strength, and we work as one team to serve agents, their clients, and their communities.The IT Financials Service Manager is responsible for the successful strategy, leadership and enablement of the IT Financials development and support staff as well as the prioritization of efforts, maintenance, systems, applications, and services. IT Service Managers work closely with senior decision makers within the organization to recommend, implement, and support cost effective technology solutions that enable business objectives.Be Ready To: Set the mission and vision for the IT Financials team to foster a customer focused culture and mindset driven by continual service improvement. Drive collaboration with key Business, internal Infrastructure, MSP, Security, and other critical stakeholders to ensure that PeopleSoft platforms and all other assigned service area applications operate efficiently in support of business operational needs. Create operational plans that incorporate directorship goals and include resource allocation needs. Lead maintenance and upgrade initiatives for PeopleSoft platforms and all other assigned service area applications Meet software provider, system, and CIC procedural and technical requirements for all PeopleSoft and other assigned service area application deliverables Lead efforts to identify/report, triage, and troubleshoot production issues for all assigned service area applications Manage upstream and downstream system dependencies and understand the impact on SLA Successfully engage and manage vendor relationships to ensure that SLAs and other contractual delivery and performance metrics are met. Be a trusted advisor and partner, building and maintaining relationships with both technical and business leaders to develop a deep understanding of business needs and priorities and ensure efficient delivery of IT services. Manage and adhere to annual staffing and budget models; provide recommendations for service area needs during annual planning. Partner with Resource Management Office to define clear performance standards and expectations. Act as a change leader for assigned service area, implementing Organizational Change Management practices as appropriate. Be creative and innovative with regards to your knowledge and awareness of industry trends and digital advances as they relate to new opportunities and business needs. Participate in hiring activities and provide employment recommendations for technical staff. Participates in the development, modification, and execution of policies. Manage third-party partner relationships who provide critical support and services; provide recommendations on appropriate staffing levels comprised of internal and external resources to support the effective delivery of services and overall business strategy. Support and drive Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity compliance and maturity. Instill purpose in team members through effective collaboration, engagement, communication of strategic vision and the alignment of associate contributions. Ensure compliance with GITC, Vendor Management, ISO Policies, and other applicable corporate policies and procedures.Qualification:Be Equipped To: Utilize enterprise leadership skills with a strong focus on IT strategy and execution Communicate effectively to a variety of stakeholders, up to and including Senior Department Leadership across IT and business teams and gain alignment, and/or influence desired outcomes Evaluate data and make recommendations to support strategic and tactical decisions Balance focus across enterprise vision and day-to-day delivery Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, project management methods, agile mindset, IT applications, processes, requirements, governance, etc. Support and/or drive execution of transformational strategies and technical capabilities, including but not limited to cloud services transitions, business agility enablement, and Dev/Sec/Ops principles such as microservices, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines Partner with architecture resources to lead and evangelize modern / new technologies to drive awareness and adoption at all levels of the organization Proven ability to earn respect, trust, and influence from people you work with and to mentor top technical talent and current and future leaders Quickly adapt to changing organizational priorities Drive change, foster innovation, and experimentation, and deliver outcomes aligned to business value Demonstrate excellent diverse team leadership and collaboration skills/abilities Demonstrate proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Model a commitment to personal and professional growth and continued development of technical, interpersonal, and business skills and acumen Consistently display an awareness and recognition of the effect your actions, moods and emotions have not only on yourself but on others as well.Knowledge/Experience: 3+ years of IT management/leadership experience in complex service delivery environments Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field; insurance and/or technical accreditations preferred Familiarity with Reporting Tools: SQR, PS Query, BI publisher Familiarity with Cloud technology/SaaS integration Experience managing and adhering to operational & strategic plans, complex budgets, and value creation Experience negotiating with third parties and developing statements of work and contracts for services Experience with compliance requirements such as HIPAA, SOX, and FDA GxP, NACHA Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience within a large/complex organization Works collaboratively across IT departments and the business Demonstrated experience in building high-functioning and efficient teams. Experience with Microsoft Office & productivity tools: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TeamsAdditional technical experience - preferred, but not required: PeopleSoft Financial Management 9.x product experience (Accounts Payable and Receivable, Asset Management, General Ledger, Procurement, Self Service) PeopleSoft Human Capital Management 9.x product experience (HR, Base Benefits, Benefits Administration, North American Payroll, Self Service) PeopleSoft Enterprise Resource Planning 9.x knowledge Experience with 8.5x PeopleTools, PeopleSoft Testing Framework & Deployment KitsEnhance your talentsProviding outstanding service and developing strong relationships with our independent agents are hallmarks of our company.
