The CACI Team is seeking a highly motivated junior Jira Developer with the background and skillset to provide technical support, admiration, maintenance, and development of Jira software. Someone who is a a service-focused team player who thrives on the opportunity to help government users to solve problems and empower change. What we''re looking for: * Someone with a solid background developing solutions for high volume, low latency applications and can operate in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment.* A candidate with distributed computer understanding and experience with Jira or the Atlassian Tool Suite.* A person who appreciates the opportunity to be independent, creative and challenged. * An individual with a curious mind, passionate about solving problems quickly and bringing innovative ideas to the table. Basic Qualifications: * 2+ years of Experience with Jira product Administration and Jira Service Desk configuration, maintaining, and supporting workflows schemes, permission schemes, notification schemes, screen schemes, etc.* Experience in JIRA, service desk administration, customizations, mapping, and automating complex workflows for role-based access control and strong knowledge in Jira Query Language (JQL), including dynamic dashboards and reporting* Experience in working with Python, Groovy, HTML, Java, .NET or equivalent with a basic understanding of Shell Scripting* 2+ years of experience with JIRA Development and testing integrations between JIRA and other 3rd-party using JIRA REST API * Experience in writing custom conditions, validations and post functions using ScriptRunner for JIRA and Automation for Jira* Experience with managing JIRA and related product updates and patching; work with Atlassian support and support organizations of the product plug-ins* Experience with monitoring all JIRA system operations, including security procedures and liaison with infrastructure, security, DevOps, data, and application teams* Experience with adhering to stringent security, change/configuration management procedures and policies* Ability to obtain a secret clearance* Bachelor''s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline or equivalent experience Additional Qualifications: * Ability to exhibit a customer-centric perspective, aligned with leading commercial-level service desk support* Ability to provide remote after-hours support in an on-call capacity* Good knowledge of PostgreSQL Database Concepts* Good knowledge of AWS cloud services and configurations* Strong analytical skills, able to understand abstract functionalities from specifications* Experience with using GitLab in a development environment* Dynamic team player with ability to learn new skills in a fast pace environment* Knowledge of ITIL with a focus on process improvement* Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills* Active Secret clearance or Top-Secret Clearance* Active IAT-II Certification, including Security+ Worksite Location: * This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia, but preferred locations in DC/MD/VA area and office in Chantilly, VA.
