This business includes implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people who suffer from chronic pain and movement disorders. Our Solutions include Proclaim (TM) XR SCS System, the 1 Spinal cord stimulator on the market, Proclaim (TM) DRG Neurostimulator, the only FDA approved DRG therapy and a market leader in radiofrequency ablation therapy, Abbott RFA. These non-opioid therapies allow us to provide interventional pain therapy to patients throughout the pain continuum. Our deep brain stimulation technology for progressive diseases help people manage their Parkinson''s disease and essential tremor symptoms, steering away from side effects.Our location in Plano, TX currently has an opportunity for a Senior Software Test and Automation Engineer. The Test Engineer is responsible for assuring that the devices remain in line with business needs and requirements in their structure and function. Establishes and maintains technology standards, evaluates and directs new technology designs. Provides technical architectural expertise, playing a vital role in innovating, designing, enhancing, implementing and scaling application and wireless connectivity platforms. Works closely with the business to translate business requirements into system design that fit the overall business architecture. Designs frameworks and systems enabling effective realization of today''s and future business requirements. Drives engineering and architectural best practices broadly throughout the organization. WHAT YOU''LL DO Responsible for defining and documenting the software automation architecture and abstracting the following from the implantable therapy engine: UI, Hardware, Remote Services, Wireless Connectivity . Bring expertise in the abilities of software automation design: scalability, reliability, extensibility, usability and be able to design the automation architecture that enables them Create automation framework & test strategies with high reuse in a modular approach and not sensitive to the evolving OS upgrade Works with cross-functional teams, product management, development, quality and operations to create innovative operating alternatives that form the overall strategy and business architecture Interface with 3rd party software companies to integrate, optimize and stability platform system software Analyze Requirements, create test coverage and script Develop Scripts and perform integration & interaction testing on IPG, FW, and Hardware devices Work closely with the members of the Test team and the development team to solve the issues Develop protocols & reports per regulatory standards Complies to 21 CFR 820.30, ISO 13485:2016, 2017/745 (EU MDR)EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU''LL BRING RequiredBachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or other related technical field. 5 plus years of Software Quality Assurance experience in healthcare and storage domain on mobile and web based platform. Automation Testing Experience from requirement analysis, creating test coverage, developing test automation code & test scripts, developing manual tests, test scripts/automation code review, execution, analyzing & fixing test scripts/automation code issues, to creation of medical devices regulatory submission Must have a strong expertise & hands-on experience in planning, design & development of quality end-to-end test scenarios and test cases designed for reusability Testing or validating client-server type of application Experience in test automation tools like Ranorex, Selenium, Appium, Robot etc. and developing testing scripts using C, Python, Postgres SQL database, VBScript, other programming language Demonstrated knowledge of Android and iOS mobile application development. Knowledge of Android UI frameworks and touch-based UI Understanding and significant work experience with various SDLC methodologies including Agile /Scrum, specifically automated QA processes in agile development environments Experience with requirements analysis and technical design and documenting from test and automation perspective Proficient with bug tracking, like JIRA, and test management toolsets to support development processes Experience with code configuration management tools like BitBucket, Sourcetree, etc. is a plus Solid verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization. Excellent communication and relationship skills, especially the ability to articulate advanced technical topics to non-technical individuals Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects .
