Our growing practice includes 160 radiologists, 30 advanced practice providers, and more than 100 employees providing administrative support in our wholly owned subsidiary STARS. ARS will soon be providing services to Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital. The Warren campus is a full-service hospital with 24/7 emergency care, and a Level II Trauma Center.What we are looking for: We are seeking a fellowship trained Interventional Radiologist to work in Warren. This is one of 2 IR positions and will be a full time partnership track role. The schedule will include primarily daytime shifts with limited evening or night responsibilities outside of call. This will be a standard track position working 39 weeks and 11 weekends.Responsibilities:This position is estimated to be greater than 50% interventional radiology with some general diagnostic radiology responsibilities. This percentage may grow over time.The IR practice covers a wide spectrum of inpatient and outpatient interventional procedures, including interventional oncology, vertebral augmentation, ablations, trauma embolization, GIB embolization, venous intervention, central venous access including implanted ports, peripheral vascular disease, biopsies, pain management procedures, diagnosis/treatment of vascular malformations, etc.Call is currently every 4th week.Why is our practice unique? Participation in section, committee and board meetings is not required but welcomed from day one. While we are an independent private practice, some of our physicians practice with an academic focus. In affiliation with Michigan State University College of Medicine, our radiologists have opportunities to teach and mentor residents and pursue research if desired. Due to the size and breadth of the healthcare systems we support, diagnostic volume and variety of clinical exposure is pensation/Benefits: We offer a competitive salary/bonus and opportunities for additional shifts to increase compensation. Our physicians pay nothing for medical/dental/vision coverage. We also contribute the maximum amount allowed to the 401K plan.
