ResponsibilitiesCentennial Peaks Hospital is a 104-bed behavioral health facility located in beautiful Louisville, CO. We are dedicated to providing a full range of mental health and chemical dependency services to the state of Colorado. We strive to enhance the mental health, safety and well-being of our patients, their families, and the community at large by providing ethical, compassionate, medically and psychologically integrated inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment for psychiatric and addiction disorders.JOB SUMMARY:The Social Worker provides clinical social work services on units as assigned in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Centennial Peaks Hospital. The Social Worker is responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, and discharge planning/case management service, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital.Pay Range: $30.00-$38.00/hrQualificationsJOB SPECIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position. Staff must demonstrate flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations including, adults, adolescents, and dually diagnosed patients in an inpatient and partial hospital setting.Education: Masters degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or social services related field required, licensure preferred.Experience: 1 to 2 years mental health experience preferred. Prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health inpatient setting preferred.Licensure/Certification: License eligible degree, LCSW, LMFT, LPC preferred.Knowledge: Prefer knowledge of case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management, family therapy theory and practice.Supervision Received: Director of Clinical ServicesSupervision Exercised: N/AJob Classification: Non-exempt; Hours vary based on staffing and patient needs and include day, evening, and weekends.This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee.
