Cozen O''Connor is seeking a full-time Senior Trust Administrator to join the firm''s growing HOMEBASE Family Office Services practice (HomeBase). You will be expected to maintain subject matter expertise, industry best practices standards, a great, friendly attitude and a desire to help the team around you succeed. This position requires a professional who communicates effectively with attorneys, paralegals, clients, investment professionals, bank personnel, insurance agents, etc. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of experience administering trust accounts, or preparing personal and/or fiduciary income taxes, or working in a family office, or similar work-experience background, and the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. He or she will manage client confidential information with discretion, and have access to a wide range of tax, trust and estate planning issues, investment reporting, financial planning and analysis. Responsibilities and Duties To communicate with attorneys professionally, reliably and thoroughly; To demonstrate a respectful, professional approach to working with all HomeBase clients; To nurture, develop and maintain professional working relationships with HomeBase clients'' accounting, tax, investment, insurance, banking and other external advisors; To contribute to organizational best practices and policies, where possible; Will set clear goals; will seek to improve HomeBase''s performance; will be accountable; Is able to adapt to change quickly and nimbly, and assist others through change events; Is versant in estate planning, fiduciary accounting and investment terms and language; Possesses a high degree of innate integrity, always acting with transparency and consistency within the framework of what is best for clients and HomeBase; Can understand financial forecasts, models, projection and analysis; Can assist HomeBase clients with philanthropic pursuits; Can work with the firm''s Middle Office and Trust Operations teams; Can prepare of fiduciary accountings and gift tax returns; Can prepare payments/distributions from client trust accounts; Can review trust account inventory records, including: insurance policies, real estate and stock holdings, stock warrants, partnership, etc., for accuracy and correct as needed; Can prepare quarterly and annual tax payments and tax bills; Can calculate interest due on loans to and from trust accounts; Can assist in the drafting trust-related documents; Enjoys taking pride in delivering client service and is superior in quality and accuracy; Enjoys helping others complete their time-sensitive work; Enjoys accounting, bookkeeping and similar work with numbers and related software; Is available, on an as needed basis, for Special Projects. Qualifications: Bachelor''s Degree is required. Strong oral and written communication skills are required An applied working knowledge of principal and income accounting rules, closely held entities, partnerships, private foundations, insurance trusts, interfamily loans and other similar matters are required; an applied knowledge of Pennsylvania Fiduciary Law and Statues is a plus. 8 years of related work-experience is required. Experience with fiduciary accounting software, such as FIS TrustDesk, a strong plus. Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint are required.
