On our recently awarded program, you''ll get the chance to leverage cyber security engineering expertise and improve your skills while performing policy development, planning, research, engineering, architecture improvement, and performance analysis while helping to maintain, improve, and ultimately revolutionize the system to help vastly improve the cybersecurity of DOD networks. In this role you will: * Review PKI plans strategizing how to integrate systems in operational network environments.* Provide system network administration. * Contribute to project activities that pertain to containers and container orchestration (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes, nomad, nexus) and data flows.* Provide Linux support to include, patch management, vulnerability management, STIG application/implementation and other security policies/protocols. * Automate and script manual operational tasks aiming to reduce manual operational efforts Setup analytical and real time monitoring to provide meaningful alerts and reports. * Participate on a support roster to monitor all systems in the Active Directory domain and to respond accordingly to ensure maximum performance, efficiency and availability of the service. To be successful in the role, you are expected to have: * Mid level of NiFi and Linux experience. * Good understanding of security principals around privileged access management, security protocols and authentication, and encryption. * Deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting VMware Horizon, VMware ESXi with vSAN.to include building Windows and Linux images.* Deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting RHEL with Satellite.* Utilizing SaltStack and other tools to automate updates and system administration tasks.* Managing system via iDRAC, Avocent IP KVM and Raritan IP KVM tools in a lights out data center environment.* Automating implementation and testing of hardened system configurations (familiarity with DISA STIG preferred).* Experience with one-way diodes (e.g., OWL), phpIPAM, LibreNMS, JIRA and Confluence. Required Qualifications: * 5 years of System Administration experience (e.g., Microsoft Windows, Group Policy, Active directory, SaltStack, Red Hat Linux, Encryption)* IAT Level II Certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP)* ***Active Secret Clearance or higher required*** Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
