This position will work closely with the customers to ensure machine uptime and performance while representing equipment manufacturer. This job will perform all aspects of equipment maintenance, including (not limited), machine installation, calibration, troubleshooting, upgrade, process verification at customer sites when needed. Also, need to collect machine and process data to conduct root cause analysis and work seamlessly with OEM''s engineering team to define and implement solutions.Responsibilities and Duties • Need to be able to manage customer expectations and strive for customer satisfactions. Need to be able to comprehend customer''s needs and address customer''s demands. This person will need to participate in customer meetings, proactively making improvement proposals to drive better quality, efficiency, cost reduction.Ongoing service support and contract service work, including:Evaluates systems, products, components, and applicationsEnsures operation and quality of equipment by following maintenance guidelines, established procedures and by performing preventative maintenanceTroubleshoots breakdowns and performs repairs as neededo Maintains continuity among work teams through continued communicationEstablish close rapport with customers and equipment manufacturer. Be able to comply with company''s regulations, create technical documentations and field service operation reports establishing knowledge database for machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.Qualifications • 2-5 years of experience in Field Service for semiconductor equipment. • Technically astute. Ideally in the following disciplines - mechanical engineering, materials engineering, physics, electrical or electronic engineering. • Prefer candidate being fluent in English and Chinese. Knowing Japanese is a plus.
