Relocation assistance to San Jose is a possibility (if needed)Will sponsor or transfer visasOur client is seeking a Sr. ASIC Design Engineer for LiDAR product development. You will work in a dynamic environment with significant growth potential and be responsible for design, verification and validation of ASIC products. Duties include working with System and Software Engineers to develop design specification, documentation for individual function blocks, RTL implementation, system integration and set up and maintaining a verification environment. You will also support new product introduction to the high volume manufacturing process to enable automotive and non-automotive applications.Ideal candidates should have deep knowledge of one or more of the following:Embedded CPU subsystem and architectureFPGA prototypingHigh-speed digital signal processing, computer vision or machine learningHigh-performance serial interface protocolsLow power design methodologyMixed-signal design Qualifications:Strong RTL (Verilog/System Verilog/VHDL) coding skillsHands-on experience in programming languages (Perl/Tcl/Python/C)In-depth knowledge of high-speed digital design, multi-clock domain SOC and verificationGood understanding of ASIC design flow from RTL to siliconFamiliar with industry-standard EDA toolsFamiliar with advanced silicon process & technology nodes for high speed and low power consumptionGood communication skills and a team playerExcellent analytics and problem-solving abilityB.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering requiredMinimum 5 years of ASIC design experience
