The Architect interacts with all levels of technical and business resources to meet operational and strategic reporting and analytical needs. Provide warehouse design, architecture, reporting/analytics, implementation, and integration efforts, including data sourcing and transformation. Help define process to ensure that the client''s business goals and objectives are met by the proposed data warehouse architecture and design. In lieu of a degree 8 to 10 years of relevant experience. Advanced experience with OLAP dimensional database design Advanced SQL programming background Experience in creating reports and dashboards in industry standard tools, PowerBI or Tableau (Preferred) Expert experience with MS SQL Server and SSIS or Azure Data factory Knowledge of the software development lifecycle including systems analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools Effective communication skills including facilitation, presentation, and documentation. Ability to capture and transform business requirements into functional and data specifications. Elevated level of initiative, self-starter, flexible, proactive and team player. Experience in handling large data volumes, deep understanding of data marts, data warehouse architecture, multidimensional databases, data lakes and data migration.
