Responsibilities: • Work within a multidisciplinary (mechanical, software, systems) project team, contributing to the development and update of new/existing system and payload designs • Develop and support the designing of new/existing electrical cables, PCB boards, and/pr electrical assemblies as well as support to resolve obsolesce issues • Contribute to design reviews and documentation of new/existing improvements and changes to the electrical system design • Participate in field data collection and experimentation, analysis, and reporting to support electrical troubleshooting and issue resolution • Support the integration, verification, and validation of new/existing electrical system, payloads, and components • Support the development and updating of test plans, test applications, and/or text fixtures to validate complex systems, subsystems, and components Required Qualifications B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical/Computer Engineering with at least 5 years'' experience Strong knowledge and experience in Electrical Engineering Analog, digital, and mixed signal circuit design Experience with bus protocols such as CAN, SPI, RS232, I2C, USB, & Ethernet PCB design and/or layout experience (Altium and/or Nexus preferred) Cable assembly and wire harness design experience Excellent written and verbal communications skills Flexible, self-starter, desire to solve any problem Desired Qualifications Prior work in the field of robotics Knowledge and experience with DOD, SAE, IEEE, and/or IPC standards Experience with safety critical and/or fault tolerance design Experience with hazard, failure, risk analyses (i.e. FMEA, FTA, etc.) Power electronics design experience Motor controller design experience Microcontroller design experience RF design experience High speed digital design experience HDL development Working knowledge of C / C++, & Visual C Experience with development and/or field testing robotic systems Job Type: Full Time Clearance Level MustBe Able to Obtain DOD Secret No One Has Time for Long Job Applications!
