Come join our team and be a part of history as we deliver results for the largest cloud services company on Earth!The ISCaP Power and Cooling (PAC) team is looking for a results-oriented individual to own Critical Infrastructure Program Planning for Data Center Power & Cooling Equipment. Our Critical Infrastructure Program Managers are focused on managing all the requirements and deliverables necessary to deliver the supply where its needed to support the explosive growth of AWS.As a member of the Power and Cooling Critical Infrastructure Program Planning team, you will manage cross-functional programs focused on the development, deployment and sustaining of electrical and mechanical capital equipment. Youll provide program management leadership to enable procurement and supply chain teams to scale capital equipment deployments. Youll drive teams inside and outside the organization to deliver complex cross-functional programs with high impact to the organization. You will work with thought leaders in multiple technology areas.Responsibilities include:Identify and drive realization of opportunities for sustainable, scalable supply chainsUsing data and key metrics, drive and measure improvements that enhance our operational effectivenessManage cross-functional projects against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goalsContinuous improvement programs: lead time, cost, quality, capacity, agilityMake optimal trade-offs between schedule, resources, and scope, and apply advanced technical and business knowledge to address major risks, challenges, and obstacles.Adapt to a fast paced, constantly changing environment.Requires travel up to 15% of the yearFunction Specific Work Activities:Define projects, collect requirements, understand functional specifications, and coordinate efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy requested equipmentWork cross functionally with design engineering technical program managers and procurement and supply chain to define and drive timely delivery of all critical project milestonesIdentify and manage risks in cross-functional project plansDrive supply chain and procurement improvement initiatives to simplify, automate, and scale processes and reduce SLAsCollect data and present metrics to influence business partners and leadership on direction for strategic projectsInfluence the build management process, design decisions and policies in ways that are mutually beneficial and sustainable for all cross-functional teamsHere at AWS, we embrace our differences. Amazons culture of inclusion is reinforced within our 14 Leadership Principles, which remind team members to seek diverse perspectives, learn and be curious, and earn trust.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelors or advanced degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field, or additional 4+ years of related industry experience in lieu of a degree6+ years of related program management and/or planning experience, or 4+ years with advanced related degree3+ years of experience with data analysis using tools such as advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, etc.3+ years of experience in supply chain or procurementPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSBackground in architecture/design, mechanical/electrical engineering, data center infrastructure/operations, and/or construction, who have transitioned to a program management discipline.MBA or advanced degree in engineering, supply chain, analytics or other quantitative disciplines.3+ years of experience in product program management, requirements management, or leading an implementation of a product program.Has designed the strategy and execution road map for a product/programStrong data acumen and experience building Tableau dashboardsAbility to think big and drive innovation throughout the supply chainBe Analytical and have a passion for diving deepExperience in technical program management related to data centers, an infrastructure service provider or similar technology company.Effectively communicate relevant information at all levels of the organizationLeadership and coaching skillsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
