Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Create custom visualizations of network data * Analyze data to pinpoint statistically significant patterns related to cyber threats * Identify vulnerabilities in network security, including: * Computer network intrusion detection/prevention systems * Firewalls * Operating systems Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: * Bachelor''s degree in systems engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or other closely related discipline or additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree * Demonstrated minimum 4 years knowledge h ands-on experience in security with an emphasis in configuration, implementation, operations and maintenance of a variety of security technologies used for the following security defense areas: network, storage/backup, OS platforms (Windows/Linux servers and desktops), web and email, applications. * Knowledge of network security applications, protocols, and associated hardware . * Knowledge and hands-on experience in systems engineering to include network, storage, backup, platforms, middleware, application, monitoring, and security. Security Clearance Required: * TS/SCI and must be able to obtain Polygraph clearance Desired Certifications: * CCIE, CCNP, or other Cisco certification * Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) * Security+ * Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) * Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) 5.24.IGLB.JD.22 For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law.
