What You Will Be DoingThe Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) will help support a Government Program Office at the Washington Navy Yard. Responsibilities: * Work is 100% on government site location. * Provide support to the Program Security Officer (PSO) with oversight of all security requirements for the Program Management Office (PMO) and various test environments. * Provide Personnel Security to include access requests, security indoctrination briefs, visit certification processing, and assist with investigations of infractions/violations. * Provide Physical Security to include access control for the PMO facility, manage physical security protocols, maintenance/procurement of security equipment, recommendations for facility upgrades, maintain combinations, and provide visitor access/escort control. * Provide Information Security by enforcing media control, managing the classified document control system. * Assist with development and preparation of security standards, facility plans, test plans, inspections and security refresher training. * Perform PMO security self-inspections. * Assist with other PMO tasking, including development, review and reproduction of briefing materials; and meeting agenda/minutes preparation. * Interface between the PMO and resource sponsors, acquisition entities, security organizations, technical/design agents (field activities, R&D agencies, test facilities), and Vendors/Contractors. * Expect some travel in this position (10%), both local and out-of-area. Qualifications: REQUIRED Skills/Education/Experience: * Current active TOP SECRET clearance as reported in DISS. * Associates Degree or higher required. * Three (3) or more years of experience in support of a DoD program office. * Proficiency with using government security regulations, including 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117 (32 CFR Part 117), ''National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)'', Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 5205.07 series, and ICD-705 Technical Specifications. * Excellent communication skills (written and oral), able to effectively interact with customers, partners, and associates at all levels. Briefing experience. * Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment in support of numerous projects. * High proficiency with MS Office Suite, web applications and security databases. DESIRED Skills/Education/Certifications: * Bachelor''s degree. * Familiarity with DoD and U.S. Navy organizations and functional missions. * Completion of various DCSA (CDSE, SPeD) and DAU coursework.
