Parsons works on top level cyber security for national defense programs and is hiring an early stage Software Developer with a focus on research, innovation and solving mission critical challenges. Parsons'' Software Developers designs and code software components, units, and modules to meet product specifications and development schedules for clients/customers. The successful candidate will test and debug software components and units, as well as participate in system and subsystem planning. What You Will Be Doing with Us: * Develop analytic tools to support c yber missions and other developers.* Contribute to technical reports.* Review, understand and implement solutions to meet dynamic project requirements.* Work in a small team and/or independently to build mission critical tools.* Perform technical research utilizing a variety of sources for evaluating both operational tools and processes. What We Need from You: * Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.* Bachelor''s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field from an accredited institution (in lieu of degree 3+ years of additional experience in similar role).* Proficiency in C/C++, OR Python.* Understanding of TCP/IP.* Knowledge of Linux OS. These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have: * Experience in Assembly, software reverse engineering, and use of disassembler tools such as Ghidra SRE or IDA Pro .* Network protocol stack.
