Remote Java Advisor

This software advisor will be working for a global 3rd party logistics company within the FAST shipping and rating department that has a system that formulates shipping quotes and rates through their back end system. Right now, they are going through an innovative effort to do a modernization, revamping the entire system. This modernization will allow the rating system to receive all of the traffic into the cloud. Currently, they use cloud native principles and deploy to Pivitol Cloud Foundry (PCF), but they are also going to be bringing Azure into the environment soon. They have already refactored the applications to meet the cloud native minimums, so they have gotten rid of having 2 different instances (1 cloud and 1 legacy) going into the application, but this advisor still need sto understand the dependencies involved with doing that. They will be working in a scrum team, joining a daily standup meeting, working on user stories. Since this is a remote position, they will be doing paired programming where they will do the development alongside another principle developer so that they can efficiently learn the system. This is a lean team with 1 scrum master, 1 Product Owner, 2 junior developers, 2 principle developers, and 2 offshore testers.
