This role is responsible for streamlining process flow, increase equipment performance and reliability, reduce cost, and eliminate waste.Duties and Responsibilities Lead cross functional capital and operational improvement projects in manufacturing plants and distribution centers which may include design, developing, rebuilding, assembly, cost saving and continuous improvement. Using continuous improvement and lean manufacturing techniques, this role will be responsible to enhance safety, quality, equipment reliability and cost effectiveness Utilize data to support decisions and optimize/improve performance Design, develop and implement control systems to promote safety, improve cycle times, product quality and equipment performance Identify process automation opportunities Share best practices with peers to help building a knowledge base, including updating processes and procedures upon achieving significant improvements The Manufacturing Engineer must also ensure equipment and tooling are developed and maintained per engineering/customer specification. Contribute to regional and divisional projects 25-50% travelingThe Skills You Bring Bachelor''s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering and demonstrated 7 years in manufacturing experience field Demonstrated success and improving output, major cost reductions and major capital projects simultaneously Lean and Continuous Improvement experience Strong Problem-Solving abilities Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Solid Works or equivalent and CAD Excellent oral and written communication skillsInterested in hearing more?
