We are looking for a Junior iOS Engineer to help us bring new product features to life for eBay Mobile. This is an amazing opportunity to join a world leader in mobile commerce and directly impact the lives of a global population while increasing the revenue of eBay exponentially.Who are we?We are the Native Mobile Search team. Our team is located in Portland, Oregon with additional team members in San Jose. We work in a small, focused, collaborative project team following an agile methodology. A Day in the LifeWork to extend the UI, Integration and Unit test automation with Swift.Work directly with Product Owner and scrum team to design, develop, test and implement Search municate and work effectively with your team and other teams at eBay.Provide engineering scope on proposed features and bug fixes. Work within agile framework and utilize the following practices: provide functional and technical direction to a solution, clean code, software craftsmanship, testing at all levels. Participate in agile team meetings, code reviews, UI design / architectural reviews.Collaborate with colleagues in San Jose.What we are looking for in candidates:Strong work ethic - someone who takes great pride in professionalism, responsibility and being proactive1-3 Years of software design and development experience working on a team1+ Years of experience developing commercial software with Swift1+ Years of experience developing iOS ApplicationsExperience with X-Code 11x, GIT, Jira, profilers and debuggers Experience integrating with web servicesSolid working knowledge of mobile application design considerationsAbility to communicate technical details to peers, product management and other team membersEducationBachelor''s Degree or EquivalenteBay Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
