Job Number: R0146400 Network Operations Center Engineer, MidThe Challenge: As we support our client i n addressing both the nation''s near-term and enduring strategic challenges in cyberspace, we need motivated engineers to sustain and modernize their operational infrastructure. Whether you come from a background in network engineering, systems administration, or software development - if you have a passion for integrating proven technologies to optimize network operations, we need you! As a network operations center engineer on our team, you''ll work with your client to support threat hunt operational infrastructure. You''ll provide network administration, monitoring, and maintenance in support of the warfighter. This is your chance to leverage your expertise in Cybersecurity while assisting our team in modernizing your client''s network operations center and broadening your knowledge base. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely. Join us as we help execute full-spectrum cyberspace operations to deter, disrupt, and if necessary, defeat adversary cyber actors. Empower change with us! You Have: * Experience with network administration and maintenance operations * Experience with ticket management systems * Experience with basic Linux administration * Experience with basic server administration * Knowledge of Splunk fundamentals * Ability to resolve network incidents to ensure the smooth-running of the network operation center * Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and Booz Allen team * Secret clearance * HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: * Experience with Jira * Experience with LibreNMS or Splunk ITSI infrastructure monitoring software * Experience with hypervisor software * Experience with remote desktop software, including Guacamole * Experience with data flow automation software, including NiFi * Experience with LDAP authentication and authorization software * Knowledge of automated hardware configuration and provisioning tools * Knowledge of vulnerability scanning software, including Nessus * TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph * Bachelor''s degree Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
