The program you will be supporting has a mission to provide support to Defense Health Agency (DHA) with a focus on development, operations, and improvement of the Paper Record Tracking (PRT) software. The team utilizes open-source technologies, agile project management practices, and engineering to support active-duty members of the Department of Defense (DoD) and product users in the Defense Health Agency (DHA). ResponsibilitiesTrack product improvements, issues, and bugs using Jira while clearly communicating them to stakeholders and developers in an Agile environment.Facilitate and contribute to Agile events including demos, retrospectives, planning, backlog refinement, and daily standup meetings on a 3-week sprint cycle.Collaborate closely with all team members including developers, testing engineers, and project managers, to shepherd product backlog items from inception through production deploymentOwn and develop relationship with stakeholders, product users, and product developer; working with them to optimize and enhance the productAssist product users with technical issues, including account creation, troubleshooting, or user identification of product issues Qualifications:Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Public Trust ClearanceProven experience in eliciting requirements from customers/clients/stakeholders.Desired experience working in an Agile development environmentAbility to create clearly worded user stories, bugs, and tasks using Jira, as well as verbally communicate functional requirements clearly to various audiences ranging in technical and business knowledgeStrong leadership, teamwork, interpersonal, and presentation skills; must be comfortable serving as the voice of the development team/presenting in large virtual meetingsDesire to take ownership, be creative with problem solving, and proactively secure the objectives of the team and program missionExcellent written and verbal communications skillsA positive attitude, with the ability to adapt and overcome challenges as a team, and willingness to grow Years of Experience: 3 years of relevant experience Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management, or related field.
