Full-time and part-time positions available on all shifts MAIN FUNCTION: Provide nursing care to residents who require Skilled Long Term and short term care. The primary purpose of your job position is to render routine daily nursing and restorative care and services in accordance with the residents assessment and care plan and under the direction of a professional nurse. Reports to the Nursing Supervisor or Unit Director. EDUCATION: High school graduate preferred. EXPERIENCE: Previous experience or job knowledge is required. Nursing aide certification is required. CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION (CPR) REQUIREMENTS: Heart saver CPR required within 90 days of hire date. Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire date. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Good physical and mental health is required because long periods of standing and walking are involved. Also, stretching and lifting are required in the care of patients, the equipment and the physical environment. Manual dexterity is necessary for handling instruments and equipment. Visual and aural acuity are required to make adequate observations of residents condition. Requirements
