Currently, we are seeking a Senior Project Analyst to support our AIRWorks team in Patuxent River, MD. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: This position provides support to AIRWorks Special Projects Execution and Advanced Rapid Integration (SPEAR)/Unmanned Aviation and Weapons (U&W) Multi-Mission Tactical Unmanned Aerial System (MTUAS) team. Candidates must possess a fundamental understanding of configuration management, integrated logistics and product support concepts. The analyst will be responsible for supporting the Special Operations Command (SOCOM) MTUAS Project Lead and SOCOM MTUAS Logistics functional area lead with planning and analysis of UAS fielding and sustainment. In addition the candidate will support the government with logistics documentation for SOCOM and Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) MTUAS requirements. The primary purpose of this position is to: Support processes development and documentation for maintenance management efforts for the SOCOM MTUAS project.Support process improvement of MTUAS sustainment by identifying areas for efficiencies and improvements through analysis of existing operating procedures and policies.Develop and document revised operating procedures.Provide documentation support, data entry, training, and assistance with updating, planning, and delivery of revised logistics data packages.Act as the liaison with the SOCOM, NSWC requirement office, SOCOM sustainment contractor, and logistics staff.Support logistics, supportability, reliability, maintainability, and operational analyses.Provide analysis of SOCOM UAS air vehicle, sensor systems, training, support equipment support strategies, and maintenance procedures.Provide recommendations for changes to maintenance planning, manpower requirements, provisioning, support equipment, training syllabus, training devices, technical data packages, handling/storage/transportation planning, and facilities requirements. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: A Senior level person within a labor category has over 10 years of experience related to the functional duties for that labor category and a MA/MS degree. A Senior level person typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently. A Senior level person may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job. Bachelors degree plus 4 years additional relevant work experience may be substituted for a Masters. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree. Masters degree preferred. SECURITY CLEARANCE: Secret or eligible for Secret (must be a US Citizen) CONTRACT: This position is supporting an active, funded contract.
