With employee health and safety as our top priority, and as a federal contractor, Lockheed Martin is taking action to address the increased risk and uncertainty COVID variants pose in the workplace and ensuring we meet our commitments to national security.As directed by Executive Order 14042: Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors, effective December 8, 2021, Lockheed Martin will require all newly hired employees, in the United States, must be fully vaccinated before their start date.Description: IAM Hourly represented employees who currently work at the main (Sunnyvale/Palo Alto) unit, Santa Cruz, VAFB or Eastern Range facilities must apply to open requisitions on Brass Ring to be considered for the position.Work Performed:Independently set up and operate all machines and equipment used to process and assemble microelectronic substrates, wafers, and functional units.This requires operation of all production equipment in the Microelectronics Center (i.e. furnaces, aligners, evaporators, sputterers, reactor, plotters GCA wafer trac and all in-process measuring and testing equipment, sawing of both substrates and wafers, cleaning, die attach, varieties of wire bonding, sealing, and testing of completed units).Be able to establish schedules for all fabrication and assembly equipment used in production type operations.Develop the techniques and shop aids to facilitate production operations, rework, and development type projects.Use all materials, tools, equipment, and information sources to complete the job.Basic Qualifications:Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.********************************Knowledge and Ability Required:Complete knowledge of all operations related to the manufacture of micro-electronic devices and functional units which includes all wafer fabrication, thin and thick film processes, assembly operations, and in-process testing operations.Must be able to pass dexterity and eye test required for microelectronic wafer and assembly operations.Must have demonstrated ability to use arithmetic, including multiplication and division using decimals and common fractions.Demonstrated ability to work using microscopes.Demonstrated ability to perform several tasks, simultaneously.Desired Skills:Experience with Antenna products, designs, and processes.Current certifications for J-Std Solder, Adhesive Bonding, Cable/Harness, Mate/Demate, Torque, ESD, FOE/FOD.Experience with use of ERP/SAP(QNotes, ZMTE, ZAPL) and VECAMS production order navigation and buyoff.Experience with using Weapon Specs, MAP specs, MPS and MPI process documents for Electronics.Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications, and the use of computer resources to access specifications, engineering, and communicate effectively with others with minimal assistance.Ability to work weekends, holidays, and in-week overtime as needed.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
