Junior Network Engineer

Junior Network EngineerOur client is seeking a Junior Network Engineer for a contract-to-hire position with the option of fully remote work. The ideal candidate will be able to present clearly in a group setting and have a working knowledge of Cisco VoIP. Industry Certifications from Cisco and or Palo Alto are preferable.Responsibilities:Monitor existing systems for potential problems and areas for improvementParticipate in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning and testingEvaluate, design, deploy, and maintain primary networking infrastructureTroubleshoot complex network-related issuesRecommend products and technologies to be added to the environment in order to maintain a secure, stable, and reliable network solutionProduce and maintain accurate and clear documentationWork with users and field personnel in remote locations to install and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, and VoIP telephony componentsQualifications:2-6 years of experience working with large-scale, complex networksAdvanced knowledge of network equipment including but not limited to:Cisco Nexus data center switching platformCisco ISR routers and Catalyst switchesWireless Networking products including Cisco and MerakiPalo Alto firewalls and Panorama management softwareDynamic Routing Protocols including OSPF and BGPIPsec VPNNetwork Access Control using Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity & InclusionThe Hollister Group is an equal opportunity employer.
