Capgemini Engineering has more than 52,000 engineer and scientist team members in over 30 countries across sectors including aeronautics, automotive, railways, communications, energy, life sciences, semiconductors, software & internet, space & defense, and consumer products.Supplier Software Quality EngineerWe are currently seeking a Software Quality Engineering professional who an experienced professional with a strong background in software quality engineering. The Role:o Own end-to-end quality of ECU supplier software: from supplier development phase and validation, to component level validation at client, and release to vehicle level.o Work closely with ECU suppliers (ADAS, Chassis, Closures, Interiors, Safety, etc.) and client teams (feature owners, component engineers, integration, OTA).o Enforce software requirements with suppliers, by evaluating: Milestone reviews, Test Plans, Test Results, Performance KPIs, SW Release Notes.o Enforce cyber security requirements are implemented and validated.o Assess supplier practices for data handling, and threat assessments.o Enforce diagnostics requirements are implemented and validated.o Drive root cause investigations of SW issues with supplier and client SW teams.o Take proactive approach to identify and mitigate SW quality risks.o Assess and recommend prospective suppliers via ASPICE acquisition framework, for sourcing activities.Qualifications:o 3+ years of experience.o Bachelor''s Degree, in a related engineering discipline or equivalent experience.o Experience working with software development teams (internal, and external).o Experience in supplier software quality audits.o Experience in with Software Maturity models such as CMMI, ASPICE, ISO.o Experience with agile and waterfall SW development methodologies.o Experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, UDS and related tools to measure and command signals, through scripting or otherwise.o Strong written, verbal communication, and facilitation skills.o Strong self-starter, with ability to work independently.Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.This company is an equal opportunity employer.
