Field Test Engineer - Controls SystemsOak Creek WIThis is a Direct Hire position with Market Leader! Challenging projects and great benefits!Travel Up to 75% but overall closer to 50%When in town, Mon and Fri usually Work From Home.As a Test Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to grow fast and shape the future of our company; all the while working with leaders in the manufacturing and railroad industry. Our Test Engineers II will be tasked with: Equipment -- 60%Travel to the field to aid in the development and testing of new products and equipmentTroubleshoot machine issues including but not limited to mechanical systems, hydraulic systems and electric systemsDevelop and execute test and validation plans for NPD projectsCreate clear and informative reports and updates for the projects being testedDesign -- 40%Analyze and design small to midsize projects, generally aiding the assigned test projectsPerforms engineering calculations on new and existing designsMaintains individual design schedule to ensure on-time completion as determined by the project leaderCompletes test and validation exercises within pre-defined schedule and cost targetsManage small to medium sized projectsSupervision of test technicians and operators in the field and on campusTravel Up to 75%GeneralSelf manages projects and timelines. Provides updates as necessary.
