Education Requirements: Bachelor''s degree from an accredited school of theology or equivalent, two units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) preferred, or Master''s in Counseling or Master''s in Social Work with two units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) required; or Master''s degree in theological studies or equivalent and completion of two units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) preferred. If affiliated or endorsed by a denomination or faith group must be in good standing with said group, as evidenced by a certificate of ordination or certification. Responsible to provide spiritual support to clients, families, and the hospice staff via phone contact, home visits and referrals to the client/family, local clergy. Assists with memorial services and activities relating to spiritual and religious issues of client, family and interdisciplinary team.
