Please let us know if you need special accommodations.The JobMaintenance Technician I (Full-time/Day) We''re looking for an energetic and motivated teammate who is responsible to perform ongoing and preventative maintenance of all properties in accordance with local building codes, and local and state Landlord/Tenant law.The Benefits Full-time benefits, including: medical, dental, 403(b) retirement plan, life insurance, and mileage reimbursement. Relay pays 100% of an employee''s medical, dental, and vision premiums Enjoy paid time off, paid sick days and paid holidays What you''ll do Working hours will be 5 consecutive 8-hour days during standard business hours (based on availability) which may include a weekend day. This also includes participating in a rotating 24-hour emergency ''on-call'' repair service for all properties. Perform minor and major repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment and buildings; supervise licensed contractors, as needed Take responsibility for unit turnovers including minor plumbing and electric, appliance repair, wall patch and paint, etc. Assist Maintenance Manager with periodic work, like gutter cleaning, winterizing, flushing water heaters and supply lines, painting, etc. Develop and maintain healthy tenant relations and report any tenant issues and/or concerns to the Maintenance Manager Utilize technology to open and close work orders Why you''re a great fit We know that experience is gathered in many ways. A can-do attitude and team spirit! 1-year minimum apartment maintenance experience Experience in appliance repair, minor plumbing, electrical and painting Strong organizational skills Good communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to write and read simple instructions and short correspondence A valid driver''s license, reliable vehicle, and safe driving record The ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check
