Relocation Available AUSGAR is currently seeking Systems Hardware Engineers who are highly motivated and interested in embedding Signal Processing applications. Will develop, test and deploy Signal Processing algorithms on hardware and software for an embedded zynq ultrascale, plus development board with FPGA and arm cortex a-53 system on chip. Reasonable accommodations may be made to individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. BS in electrical engineering or computer engineering. Advanced degree highly desired. Ability to obtain Interim Clearance. 8-16 years of network engineering experience. C/C++ programming (6+ yrs). Ability to read and write Hardware Description Language, preferably Verilog (2+ yrs). Embedded Linux (2+ yrs). MATLAB knowledge (2+ yrs). Embedding high level DSP applications onto embedded device. Realtime signal processing on I and Q data from ADC (ADI''s AD9361 or similar). Knowledge of Xilinx Zynq (arm) and Zynq UltraScale (ARM64) embedded devices. Using Xilinx Vivado design suite to develop test and deploy hardware. Using ILA to probe signals for debugging. Using Linux UIO driver to interface, read, write to registers and receive interrupts from HW to SW. Setting up RF front-end for Software defined radios. Using Xilinx IP cores FFT, CORDIC, complex multiply and others. Using MATLAB (or relevant language) to supplement debugging of hardware. Creating Test Benches to test behavior of design before implementing on Hardware. Experience using Xilinx PetaLinux SDK. Experience with Analog devices AD9361 ADC. Be able to work in a team and individually with little to no guidance. Ability to travel as needed (10% or less). An essential qualification for this position is successfully obtaining a Secret security clearance issued by the Federal Government, which may require successful completion of a background check.
